Information We Process

When you create an account, Fogatero processes your email address, authentication credentials, display name, username, and account role. When you use the songbook, we store the songs, chord charts, metadata, visibility choices, and favourites you save. Profiles and songs are visible to anyone only when you make them public. Private profiles and songs are available only to their owner.

Microphone & Device Data

The tuner requests microphone access only after you start it. Pitch detection runs in your browser. Fogatero does not record, retain, or upload microphone audio. Theme, tuner, metronome, display preferences, and custom chord shapes may be stored locally in your browser.

How We Use Data

• Authenticate accounts and keep sessions active.
• Save, display, edit, share, and protect your songs and profile.
• Operate invitation-only registration and administrative controls.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and secure the service.

Service Providers & Retention

Fogatero uses Supabase for authentication and database hosting and may use its hosting provider to deliver the application. These providers process data to operate the service. Account and song data remain stored until you delete the content, request account deletion, or retention is required for security or legal obligations.

Your Choices

You can make your profile and each song public or private, edit your profile, delete your songs, clear locally stored preferences through your browser, and revoke microphone permission in browser settings. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data, email privacy@fogatero.app.

Security & Changes

We use access controls, encrypted transport, security headers, and database row-level policies. No service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as Fogatero changes and will revise the effective date when we do.
